All of the books are in fine condition, tightly bound with clean pages. The dustwrappers range from being in very good to near fine condition. All dustwrappers are unclipped and without sunning. There is light rubbing, light to some edge wear with a few closed tears to the wraps. There is a light discoloration to the exposed inside edges of the wraps, otherwise, all in fine condition, wrapped in mylar with any irregularities minimal. There is no shipping charge for this set of books. (F/NF.) Volumes 1-9. Volume 10 Supplement. This set is the much admired Fifth Edition in 10 volumes. 8,966 pages total, with 76 full-page plates of illustrations of which 16 are in color. There is hundreds of illustrations for musical examples, line drawings and diagrams in the text. All are printed in 1954 with the exception of the supplement published in 1961.
